Well, the exhibition is all finished and i am happy to have sold some paintings. Great to have plenty of people on the opening night and thank you to Elizabeth Arthur for providing beautiful food and wine. It was a great surprise to have my parents there. An even bigger surprise was when Jordan Marani walked into the gallery. I saw him one night six years ago and before that not since the early 90's. So great to catch up with him and have him come to my show. Thanks Jah!. Also a special thank you to Alan Leishman for opening the show and giving a very informative and humbling talk. Thanks to all that have taken an interest in my paintings.

Lovely weather today. Looking forward to the exhibition opening tonight. Hope someone turns up.
The paintings for the exhibition have been put up in the gallery. I must say that Elizabeth has done a brilliant hang. Lots of odd sized canvases can be a nightmare to hang but she is a master of the task. I was so happy to see my work presented in such a professional manner. It was great to see them all up and feeding into each other. Not having a studio has been frustrating but the kitchen will do. Not having the space means seeing the paintings in the gallery all together for the first time was very pleasing. Thank You Elizabeth. To top of my joy, Alan Leishman has agreed to open the exhibition at my request. I am very honoured that he did. Will post photos soon.
Paintings were delivered this week. Going to the gallery today to help move some things to make plenty of wall space. I want the gallery to be full of colour, with trees, flowers and garden views. Also included are some paintings of surrounding areas that will be familiar to locals. Opening night is next Thursday December 15 2011. Please come if you can.
